If you have an interest in working as an Edison Wheelchair Transport driver, please email us your resume, including contact details. Experience in the aged care industry is very helpful but not mandatory.
You will need to:
be friendly and reliable
have a current Victorian drivers licence
be First Aid qualified
have OH&S experience
pass a criminal history check
Pass a Working with Children check
have a medical assessment
Applicants will need to be accredited with Commercial Passenger Vehicles Victoria (CPVV) by completing the Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) endorsement/assessment. Please see the CPVV website for further information.
Ongoing driver training will be arranged by Edison Wheelchair Transport.
Successful applicants may have the choice to operate as a casual / part-time driver or as an independent operator (owner/driver).
